Independence can harden
When every view becomes a proof of autonomy, updating feels like surrender. When planning becomes a way to avoid wrongness, analysis becomes another borrowed cage.
Agency stays adjustable
The agentic move is to own the process rather than the image. Goals become hypotheses. Feedback outranks certainty. A person can have direction without demanding that the map remain correct.
